ZIYAN Technology recently welcomed the Advanced Training Program for Senior Officials in Emergency Management from African Countries, organised by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and hosted by the International Cooperation and Exchange Centre of the Ministry of Emergency Management.
Nearly 40 emergency management officials and experts from several African countries visited ZIYAN Technology to learn about China's domestically developed low-altitude unmanned systems for emergency response, participate in technical discussions and observe dedicated UAV flight demonstrations.
The visit was an important practical step in advancing international cooperation on natural disaster prevention and emergency management under the Belt and Road Initiative. ZIYAN successfully supported the full programme, including reception, technical presentations, discussions and flight demonstrations. The event received positive feedback from the African delegates, and ZIYAN was presented with a letter of appreciation from the International Cooperation and Exchange Centre of the Ministry of Emergency Management.

Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly welcomed by the ZIYAN team, who introduced the company and outlined the programme.
At the ZIYAN exhibition centre, the delegation explored the company’s development journey, business portfolio and technological achievements. Through technical presentations and a corporate video, participants gained a deeper understanding of ZIYAN's UAV solutions for emergency response and disaster relief, core technologies and field-proven applications.
The visit provided an opportunity for the delegates to see first-hand how China's unmanned emergency response systems are becoming increasingly intelligent, specialised and operationally capable.

The two sides then held a technical exchange session focused on the practical needs of disaster prevention and emergency response in Africa.
Discussions covered a range of applications, including aerial emergency response, disaster reconnaissance and operations in complex environments. The session provided a valuable platform for exchanging practical experience and exploring potential areas for future cooperation.

The live flight demonstration was one of the highlights of the visit.
Despite moderate to heavy rain at the flight site, the demonstration proceeded as scheduled. With guidance from ZIYAN engineers, the African delegates had the opportunity to experience the rapid assembly and disassembly of the F15 unmanned helicopter.
Featuring a modular design, the F15 can be rapidly assembled and deployed in approximately 2 minutes, demonstrating its suitability for fast-response missions and field deployment.
The delegation then observed the F15 conducting live operations in the rain. Equipped with a high-definition EO/IR gimbal, the aircraft supports multiple sensing modes, including visible-light imaging, thermal imaging and laser ranging.
The F15 can also be integrated with a satellite communications relay payload to rapidly restore communications in areas affected by disruptions to power, transport and telecommunications—the so-called “three disruptions” scenarios.
Together, these capabilities demonstrated an integrated low-altitude emergency response workflow covering pre-disaster reconnaissance, in-disaster communications support and post-disaster assessment.
The F15 maintained stable and reliable flight performance despite the heavy rain, highlighting its strong environmental adaptability and operational reliability in challenging conditions.

Africa faces frequent and diverse weather-related and natural disasters, creating significant opportunities for practical cooperation in emergency management between China and African countries.
The visit not only demonstrated ZIYAN Technology’s capabilities in organising and supporting international exchange programmes, but also highlighted the company’s commitment to contributing to China’s emergency management initiatives and supporting international cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
Looking ahead, ZIYAN Technology will continue to leverage its expertise in low-altitude unmanned systems to facilitate technical exchanges between China and Africa, develop emergency response solutions tailored to overseas operational environments, and deepen practical cooperation in disaster prevention and emergency management.
By bringing proven unmanned technologies and field-oriented solutions to international markets, ZIYAN aims to contribute to stronger emergency response capabilities and closer China–Africa cooperation.
