The 2026 China Marine Economy Expo has successfully concluded, with ZIYAN showcasing its F15 and Grey Whale G1 unmanned helicopters. The exhibition provided an opportunity to engage with industry professionals and explore the growing role of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in maritime inspection, offshore logistics, and emergency response.
As a major national exhibition dedicated to the marine economy, the event brought together representatives from offshore energy, maritime authorities, marine engineering, and emergency response sectors, serving as a platform for technology exchange and industry collaboration.

Maritime operations present unique challenges for unmanned aircraft, including salt-laden environments, strong wind gusts, and extended overwater missions. ZIYAN continues to enhance the maritime operational capabilities of its unmanned helicopter platforms to address these demanding conditions.
Throughout the three-day exhibition, the F15 and Grey Whale G1 attracted interest from industry stakeholders. The ZIYAN team exchanged insights with visitors on real-world maritime applications, operational requirements, and potential opportunities for collaboration.
The ZIYAN F15 is designed to support a wide range of maritime surveillance and inspection missions. With wind resistance capabilities rated up to Beaufort Force 8, the platform supports rapid integration and interchange of mission payloads, including electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) gimbals, communications relay equipment, and airborne public address systems.
Typical applications include oil spill monitoring, coastal and waterway patrols, and offshore emergency reconnaissance.
When integrated with an automated UAV docking station, the F15 can support unattended operations, including autonomous takeoff and landing. The system can be deployed at offshore installations, on islands, and at ports, providing aerial situational awareness for maritime authorities and offshore asset operators.

The ZIYAN Grey Whale G1 is a cargo-oriented unmanned helicopter designed for point-to-point logistics in maritime environments.
Supporting both internal cargo transport and external sling-load operations, the platform offers flexible options for transporting supplies and equipment between offshore locations.
Potential applications include island resupply, spare parts delivery to offshore platforms, and emergency supply transport. By providing an aerial alternative to conventional vessel-based logistics, the Grey Whale G1 can help reduce dependence on tidal conditions and sea states for time-sensitive deliveries.

Following three days of productive discussions, ZIYAN extends its appreciation to all industry partners and visitors who joined us at the exhibition.
Looking ahead, ZIYAN will continue advancing unmanned helicopter technologies and maritime-adapted UAS solutions, supporting safer, more efficient, and more flexible operations across the marine industry.
